How is the Edinburgh International
Conference Centre adopting the Edinburgh Inspiring Capital
Brand?
The Edinburgh Inspiring Capital Brand is key
in promoting the strengths of our city region to an international
audience. We work closely with the Edinburgh Inspiring Capital Team
to devise creative ways to spread the word about Edinburgh.
We use Edinburgh Inspiring Capital’s pop-up
stands and branded promotional materials at our
international conferences. We also have a joint initiative with
Edinburgh Inspiring Capital and Edinburgh
Principal Hotels Association. The hotels which host our
conference delegates are dressed with branded pop-ups stands,
ensuring that delegates see Edinburgh Inspiring Capital branding
throughout their stay in the city and receive consistent messages
about the quality and character of Edinburgh City Region.
We have incorporated the Brand into our
marketing materials. We use sections of the Edinburgh Inspiring
Capital DVD in our own promotional DVD. The Edinburgh Inspiring
Capital Brand logo, images and key messages feature
prominently in our new online brochure. This means messages about
Edinburgh Inspiring Capital are seen by business and events
professionals worldwide.
How will you develop your relationship
with Edinburgh Inspiring Capital in the future?
We are developing a new website and are
drawing on the distinctive tone of voice and clean, contemporary
look and feel of Edinburgh Inspiring Capital. The Brand’s extensive
image library captures the essence of Edinburgh City Region
and using the images will also reduce our costs.
European markets are our focus for 2008 and we
look forward to devising an exciting campaign to promote Edinburgh
Inspiring Capital to businesses across Europe.
