Edinburgh’s Class Act - Brand scoop award for Best
DVD

February 2008 saw Edinburgh Inspiring Capital become the class
winners of the Best DVD/Video category at the recent Communicators
in Business (CIB) awards (Scotland) held in Glasgow.
The award-winning DVD is split into four sections; introduction,
live, invest, visit . Each section gives an
overview then goes into more detail on living, visiting and
investing in Edinburgh. The Edinburgh Inspiring Capital DVD is a
key marketing tool which was used in the successful event
bidding process for the World Cross Country Championships, given
away to international delegates at the Cannes Film Festival 2007,
and has garnered coverage on various worldwide TV stations
including BBC Worldwide via the IRB Rugby Sevens to an audience of
millions.
The CIB awards (Scotland) are one of the most prestigious awards
in the industry to hold corporate communicator awards. Other
winners on the night included the Edinburgh International
Conference Centre (EICC), National Museums Scotland and our
partners VisitScotland.
On winning the award, Ailsa Falconer Brand Project Manager
