Project Management of the DEMA Project
Run in line with PRINCE2™ project management principles,
the project is being overseen by a Project Board made up of both
public and private sector representatives. A Delivery group
sits beneath this, which brings together representatives from the
current key stakeholders.
Current work is focusing on the definition of a Destination
Promotion Strategy for the City covering the propositions for
visit, invest, live and study. This strategy will then inform
the best structure to realise the projects vision for
“Edinburgh to be a must–visit, vibrant, authentic, inspiring
destination – a bold city of the future.”
Edinburgh Inspiring Capital Brand remains the customer facing
dimension of the new marketing alliance, and the existing cohort of
brand adaptors represents a powerful partnership to assist in
advancing the aims and objectives of DEMA.
