Brand successes

Key achievements for  Edinburgh Inspiring Capital include:

• branding of three major city gateways; Edinburgh airport, the cruise liner terminal and major road entry signs
• worldwide showcasing of the Edinburgh City Region DVD
• winning Best DVD category at the CIB awards (Scotland) for the Edinburgh City Region DVD
• launch of the official Edinburgh City Region website
• development of a bespoke image library which includes over 300 images.

The Brand has also inspired other organisations in redeveloping their own brands. Examples include the Edinburgh Convention Bureau, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, Edinburgh’s festivals, Scottish Borders and the Edinburgh Principal Hotels Association.
