DEMA successes
At DEMA we are justifiably proud of our successes. We are
working with public and private sectors to raise the awareness of
Edinburgh nationally and internationally as a place to visit,
invest, live, work and study.

- Commissioning the Edinburgh Visitor Survey for

includes a blog, features section, and new video content,
this DEMA corporate website www.edinburghbrand.com, with
its bespoke online image library and shopping basket
facility,
Edinburgh Inspiring Capital Facebook, Twitter and FlickR pages
- a Bluetooth pilot project for the main arrival points into the
city to offer welcome messages and city information.
PR
- On-line media office with tracking facilities,
communications plan created with partners to ensure maximum
coverage nationally and internationally across visit, invest, live,
work and study
- New case study video footage of Edinburgh available to partner
organisations
Promotion
Working in partnership with private and public agencies to
amplify Edinburgh’s assets through shared marketing campaigns and
budgets.
- Creation of a Winter 2009 'Sparkles' campaign focussing on
Edinburgh’s leisure retail offer which will be replicated in
2010
- Creation of a Spring 2010 campaign focussing on the idea of
“Boutique Edinburgh”
- Creation of a Summer 2010 campaign focussing on enjoying
Edinburgh from fashion to festivals entitled 'This Is My
Edinburgh'
- Refocusing of Capital Review into an inward investment
promotional tool titled “Invest Edinburgh” and expansion of the
readership
